From June 11-14, 2024, the Ceramics and Glass Spanish Society Congress 2024 in Zaragoza, Spain, gathered top scientists and researchers in ceramics to discuss the latest advances in the field. The AERORECORD project, through collaboration between DYPAM and INTA, presented exciting findings on graphene-reinforced ceramics for high-performance applications.
The oral presentation, titled: «Strategies for Achieving Enhanced Graphene Dispersibility in PIM-Processed Ceramic Composites», was delivered by Álvaro García, focusing on novel methods to improve graphene distribution in ceramic composites, a crucial factor for maximizing the reinforcing potential of graphene in aerospace materials.
Additionally, a poster was showcased: “Revolutionizing High-Temperature Applications: Graphene-Reinforced Cordierite Materials.”
The research will explore how these materials perform under extreme conditions, with potential applications in aerospace and energy sectors.
